Lifeboats & Davits inspection
We have experience Technicians that will perform a Proper maintenance of lifeboats to ensure safe and smooth release. A davit is a safety system, which is used for lowering the lifeboat from the mother vessel and launching it over the water. Examine the davits carefully and find out if there are any signs of corrosion, misalignment or deformations. Lubricate all wires, sheaves and moving parts. Regularly check electronic devices such as limit switches, stored power systems and hydraulic mechanisms to ensure proper functioning.
Load testing
During a five year inspection the equipment it is required to carry out 1.1 times overload test on winch brake and Davit.
We use Water Bags. Water Weights water filled test bags has increased greatly the practicability, economy and safety of providing proof over load testing on cranes in power plants, general industry, construction and marine operations.
The load is always measured accurately with a certified load Cell or Dynamometer so exact weight variations required during test is always achieved by simply filling or dumping the bags.

Hook Modification
Gangways & ALP Inspection
Accommodation ladders and gangways, including associate winch and fittings,should be properly maintained and inspected at appropriate intervals as required by SOLAS regulation III/20.7.2, in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions. Additional checks shouldbe made each time the accommodation ladder and gangway is rigged, looking out for signs ofdistortion, cracks and corrosion.
